Readings

I would be delighted to select excerpts from my work to read to members of your college, special interest group, society or work team. The length and content of the reading would be tailored to suit your needs. Experience at Literary Festivals has taught me that a Chairperson is useful for fielding questions afterwards and promoting discussion. I have read to small and large audiences in Britain and abroad.

Costs

Travel and accommodation expenses must be covered. The usual fee for a 50 minute reading followed by questions and discussion, plus time spent with the audience or special guests if required, is £200.

Slide Presentations

I have been very moved by responses to my slide presentations in the past. These have been given at a range of venues including colleges in Britain, conference suites in Washington DC and at the Royal Geographical Society. Preparing a slide presentation takes time and no two are the same. I would be glad to work with your preferred length of presentation and answer questions from the audience afterwards.

The usual fee for a full presentation is £1000.
